26 Hours of Vacation

We left Friday at 3 pm and were home Saturday by 5 pm.
I had the bags packed and the kids ready we were in the car minutes after Ben walked in the the door and on our way to San Diego. We stopped at the hotel, dropped off our bags, set up the port-a-crib and hopped back in the car. We went to PEI WEI for dinner then headed to Sea World for the night shows. The kids loved SHAMU ROCKS. Lincoln danced and ate through the whole show and Tatum gave us a play by play. It was magical.
The most magical part of the night, the kids fell asleep on the way back to the hotel. Doesn't sound so magical but we were able to transfer both kids from the car to their hotel beds without waking them up. They slept until 7:15 am the next morning.
That was magic.

Lincoln at the hotel.
We headed back to Sea World on Saturday.

Ben cannot handle rides that go in circles, he can't even watch us go on rides that go in circles. TeaCups, Merry Go Rounds, Dumbo Ride are not in his vocabulary so it was quite the sacrifice when they would not let me on Abby's Spinning Starfish (because I'm pregnant) and Ben stepped in.
He looks thrilled doesn't he?

Lincoln had planned on swimming with the starfish.

Tatum's favorite spot:
The Shark Encounter or as she likes to call it
Shark Tunnel

We even fed the Sea Lions
I see a lot of similarities at mealtimes with my kids ( and Ben) and the Sea Lions at mealtimes
Hysteria, Barking and Fighting

And this is how I feel most days...
