Back-to-school festivites

The weeks get crazy here at Kimberly Elementary.

Every week is another fun activity.

Ice-Cream social, geography night, Spirit Day, assemblies,

orientations, running club, Kimberly Kampout, fundraiser,

room parent and of prize box.

First Day of Pre-School

 Saylor told me all summer long that she did

NOT want to go to Playschool. She has been at

drop-offs for pre-school since before she was born

so I was shocked that she wasn't more excited

to attend. All it took to change her mind,

a new Minnie Mouse trike.

 She did great. I did not.

It is always hard to leave them for the first time.

She is only going two mornings a week,

 so I am happy to have her home the rest of the week.

 We celebrated a successful first day at Jose's with daddy!

A Back-to-School Celebration

 We really had a great summer,

and I love having the kids home, being free of

schedules and having the kids be together.

School schedules with a pre-school, kindergartner,

 and third grader means a lot of driving around

and I think the adjustment has been hardest on me.

 While the big kids are away,

we have more time for naps and littles playtime.

 Saylor loves her one-on-one time,

 but I know she will love pre-school too!

Back-to-School

GoGo went crazy with the back-to-school clothes.

The kids are styling and ready to go.

Everyone got hair chops or trims and we loaded

up their backpacks with fun supplies.

 The kids are checking out the class lists, ready and excited to

be back together!

Summer Fun with Daddy

 With Ben having limited time off this year, 

we met him for lunches during his workday,

took late evening strolls, swam on Saturdays, 

played miniature and took advantage of every second

when he was home.
