Where have I seen that before!?!

Saylor 4 months

Saylor really knows how to let us know when she is upset and on the verge of tears. She warns us with  the "bottom lip."

The "bottom lip" is nothing knew in the Bunker household.

Our little Engineer

Tatum amazes me

Saylor is 4 months old!!

Here we go again another month older and it is killing me, it is happening so fast!

At four months she is

24 inches
13 pounds
25 percentile in both height and weight
smiling
laughing
trying to roll
has painted toenails
nursing but also taking a bottle
refusing her binkie
losing her hair
wearing some of my favorite hand-me-downs from Tatum
working her bottom lip when she is upset
mesmerized by Tatum and Lincoln
loved by all of us.

At four months I

have not read a baby book once
can't seem to put Saylor down
think her rolls are yummy
love her smell
and am reminded of these sweet moments I had with Tatum and Lincoln at four months.
Check out those fabulous thighs

Sleepy Saylor

She fell asleep IN THE BATHTUB and

she stayed asleep when I took her out of the bath,

she even stayed asleep after I put a diaper on her and laid her down.

"You've got a friend in me.."

Forget Andy(the boy in Toy Story), he  has nothing on Tatum and Lincoln.
These two toys are dragged everywhere, by their arms, by their legs, by their pull strings, it is adorable.
Three kids and a Jesse doll all strapped down.

Thanks GoGo and Pa for our fun Easter gifts!

Tatum and GoGo

Susan Nash - Apr 4, 2010

This happened as i was combing through her hair after her bath today:

Tatum:   gogo who combed your hair when you were little?
Gogo:     My mommy did.
Tatum:   what was her name?
Gogo:     Grandma Betty, she was my mom, i loved her very much!
Tatum:   Oh gogo that is a cute name, i think i would love her very much.
(by now i am trying to hold back tears and concentrate on what i am doing, with little success)
Gogo:     I know she loved you very much i think she hand picked you right before you were born to send you down to your new family.   I tlhink she kissed your forehead just like this (as i kissed her forehead) and sent you down to live with your mommy and daddy.
Tatum:   so she is in Heaven with my Uncle Brady?
Gogo:   yes she is with Grandpa Theron and lots of other ones we love.
Tatum: gogo don't cry i don't want you to be sad, you can't go to the party if you cry, take a deep breath (i did like i was told) there that is better now.

This little girl is so close to the spirit, she is amazing!   Somehow she knew i needed to talk about my mother today, as this was her favorite time of spring, i can't smell a orange blossom without thinking of her, she has been very close to me lately, and I am so grateful for a little 4 year old that brought it all out to the surface today.   Tatum sue you own my heart in a way that no other does!   happy happy Easter to all today!

Really what is there not to love?
With all the fun and festivity that Easter has to offer, there is so much MORE.
Easter is always a time of reflection a season that renews our Hope.
Our Father wants us to succeed, He wants us to be happy.
I can't think of anything that would bring more joy than being reunited after this life and living together as Eternal Families.
I know that we will see those that we love that have passed, our Heavenly Father has given us all the tools, promises and blessings to ensure this reunion if we are obedient to His commandments. He also knows we are not perfect and after all that we can do offers us His love, His mercy , His grace.

Heavenly  Father knows and understands our pain and our grief. He gave His Son so that we could overcome death and be with Him again. At this time as we continue to mourn the loss of Brady, I can't deny the love of our Savior and our Heavenly Father and look forward with faith and hope that we will be together again.
So, in Brady's words, "Happy freakin' Easter!"

Our impromptu trip to Utah

I can't thank my parents enough for dropping everything at a moments notice so that the kids and I could get to Utah to be with the Bunkers.
The made what could have been a disastrous trip with three small kids not only bearable but enjoyable.

They look like angels but 10 hours strapped in car seats is a recipe for disaster.

They did great. Really. It was actually quite unbelievable. It was such a blessing. Seriously.
When we arrived at the Uncles' house they were prepared with Mac N Cheese, Cheerios, Milk and Peanut Butter. Thanks Uncles'.
