"YOU SAY GOODBYE, I SAY HELLO, HELLO, HELLO"

Goodbye to the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park.
What a fun gift, we tried to go to either park at least once a month and oftentimes went with family. Thanks GoGo and Pa for such a fun gift! Thanks for sharing in the fun with us ; Granparents Bunker, Lamberts, Evans', GoGo, Todd, Tyler, Trevor and numerous times just the four of us! We enjoyed beautiful San Diego weather all but once (remember the heat Trevor) , ate Dots ice-cream, and even saw a few animals!

Lincoln's favorite (eating)

Tatum's favorite , the elephants

I told you this kid is always eating something!

Goodbye to San Diego Parks, hello DISNEYLAND!

This year for Christmas GoGo and Pa bought us annual passes to DISNEYLAND! (Oh and they got some passes too!) Anyway as much as we loved the trips to San Diego, Anaheim here we come! The last time we visited Disneyland was just before Halloween, so of course Tatum's clearly remembers Disneyland and she was so excited to go back. We just went this past Friday and decided to go to CA Adventure (for the first time). IT was so fabulous. Tatum's favorite was the Pixar Play Parade. We are counting down the days until we go back
. On the last trip we went with some friends so Tatum naturally assumed Clare (friend) would be there waiting for us, maybe next time. Can't wait for a year full of new fun memories!

The parade was so cute and short(15 minutes) which was perfect and then it was onto Disneyland for the Toontown Rollercoaster, which is Tatum's favorite ride. Lincoln is too small for the ride so I took him to see Mickey. I expected tears. There weren't any tears but there was a mean show-down. Mickey never broke face, but Lincoln was unrelenting in his scowl.

THE FACE OFF

What would you do....

...if you only had $1? Only $1 left to your name, how would you spend it?

Occasionally we drive thru McD's for an ice-cream cone. Tatum loves these cones and it is such a pitiful sight to see Lincoln watch her enjoy her cone. He literally stares at her from first lick to last bite. Well that all changed and Lincoln got his very own cone. I don't think at first he understood that it was really his, he looked at me with the biggest smile and honestly didn't lick it for a few minutes he just stared at it and smiled, I finally had to reach back and put it to his mouth. This is what I saw.....

I know exactly how my last dollar would be spent.

Duplo zoo

Tatum worked so hard on this zoo all the while I was trying to keep a frantic Lincoln from 'helping' with the Legos.

Demolition! This is what happens when we turn our backs.

"What? What did I do?"

Playing with daddy

I love this picture, Bennie shows no mercy to Linc(check out both Ben and Tatum's expressions)

Still no mercy

Just one of the many reasons I love this man...

I was uploading pictures and I came across these this morning, so either Tatum took these or Ben set up the tripod, either way AMAZING!

Happy New Year!

Poppers
Okay so we bought a pack of what we thought was small fireworks and sparklers, and got home and realized only after Ben tried to unsuccessfully light a bigger one, that they were all poppers. So as to no not disappoint our kids we hit a few stores before realizing, due to the SoCal fires that our county has banned fireworks.

Plan B
We bought the trick birthday candles, pathetic I know, but Tatum was thrilled!

I am excited to begin a New Year, I think 2008 was great and can't wait to see what this next year brings.
