We started and interactive advent countdown on December 1st.
I made some quick little felt stockings and put little notes in each one with an activity or a treat to really get the kids excited for Christmas. It is working. After Tatum looked in the first stocking on December 1st, she asked if could look in all the stockings up to Number 10. It has been so fun to watch them run to the stockings as soon as Ben get home from work.
December 1st: Decorate Tree in Kids' Room, Make a paper chain
December 2nd: Button Craft, Scavenger Hunt for P.J.'s
December 3rd: Tatum and Mommy go see the Nutcracker Ballet, Make Christmas Cards
December 4th: Ward Christmas Party
December 5th: Build-A-Bear at Home

Okay, I am officially a horrible mother. I can't believe you got all of this together with a baby due any day. I suck!:)
