I am a Child of God

The primary theme this year is,

 " I am a Child of God"

In celebration of all their hardwork on the

annual primary program, our Primary hosted a fun activity night.

"I am a Child of God and

He has sent me here,

(an All About Me Poster)

has given me an earthly home,

with parents kind and dear

(graham cracker houses)

Lead me, Guide me, Walk beside me,

help me find the way

(an obstacle course)

Teach me all that I must do, to live

with Him someday."

(The kids assembled a take-home FHE lesson)

Kids Crafts and no room to keep them

 I love what the kids bring home, I really do but

if I kept every craft, picture, sketch, coloring or project the

kids brought home and then gifted me, we would be on 

the Hoarders show.

Every  couple of months, now I hang up the kids' stuff

snap a picture, keep a favorite or two, then toss it in the recycling bu.

First Day of Pre-School

 Saylor told me all summer long that she did

NOT want to go to Playschool. She has been at

drop-offs for pre-school since before she was born

so I was shocked that she wasn't more excited

to attend. All it took to change her mind,

a new Minnie Mouse trike.

 She did great. I did not.

It is always hard to leave them for the first time.

She is only going two mornings a week,

 so I am happy to have her home the rest of the week.

 We celebrated a successful first day at Jose's with daddy!

A Back-to-School Celebration

 We really had a great summer,

and I love having the kids home, being free of

schedules and having the kids be together.

School schedules with a pre-school, kindergartner,

 and third grader means a lot of driving around

and I think the adjustment has been hardest on me.

 While the big kids are away,

we have more time for naps and littles playtime.

 Saylor loves her one-on-one time,

 but I know she will love pre-school too!

Saylor and GoGo get a date

 While the kids were both in school,

GoGO took Saylor to Disneyland.

She stuffed a Princess Bear in Downtown Disney

and then they headed to both parks for a

fun day. My mom said Saylor talked the whole day 

and really enjoyed her one-on-one time.

They left Disneyland at 2 and grabbed lunch and headed to the beach.

They played in the sand and then grabbed dinner at Pei Wei.

I didn't pick up Saylor until 8pm that night.

She had a fabulous day!

My sidekick

 Saylor loves to shop with me.

We often go to thrift stores and find treasures.

She is such a sweet girl and such a big ham.
