Utah Bound, Thanksgiving 2012

 Thanksgiving Break 2012
We all piled in the van and we were packed to the brim.
We left Friday after school and work so we could have a few extra days and prepared ourselves for what should be a 9-10 hour trip.
We hit bad weather and made lots of potty breaks, the kids were miserable and weren't sleeping like we had hoped and finally after 10 hours of driving and still 3-4 hours away, we decided to stay at a hotel in Beaver.

The stop was the best decision for everyone.
Everyone slept really well, and we were able to eat a yummy breakfast and we were ready to brave the final leg of the trip.
Even this little was ready to finish the drive.

Sunday evening we had a family dinner and we were able
to bless Nash in the Bunker home.

 Ready to be blessed.

Lots of family and a beautiful blessing given by his daddy.
He was an angel, we actually could hear his blessing.
After the blessing we celebrated November Birthdays!
Tatum and Kraig blow out their candles
and open presents!
 Nash and Uncle Todd
 Lincoln and Grandpa Steve
Here is some proof that these kids were exhausted!

Tatum had just finished a dinosaur unit at school and was so
excited to go to Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum.
 Check out these animals!
We were so glad to spend the day with our cousins and Grandma Teri.

A playdate with Sami and Saylor.

We celebrated on Friday after Thanksgiving so that everyone could be there.
Brett even made a surprise visit.

Nash was a popular little man

Lunch at Grandma Betty's favorite spot, Mi Ranchito
with the Nash clan
Although the drive can be tough, it is always worth it.
Ben and I can't help ourselves but reminisce about our dating and early years of marriage spent in Provo. We love seeing so much family and the kids look forward to the snow.
