Spring Break 2013

Spring Break started off kind of slow, we had

planned to go to Utah the first week, but it fell through.

So we hung out at home did some science experiments and

took it easy.

Lincoln brought home Clifford from school during Spring Break,
and we had to chronicle our adventures. We already had a Clifford of our own.
We had to document everything Clifford did with us in his class journal.

The second week we went to the beach-house in

Newport. The kids and I went with GoGo and Trevor.

The weather was cold but it doesn't matter when you

are at the beach.

It was Trevor's birthday while we were there

and we decided to surprise him upon exiting the shower.

Nash didn't like our singing.

On Friday, Trevor and GoGo went home and

daddy showed up.

FUNZONE

Saylor hits the jackpot!

We ate at our favorite Taco place,

we hit up the FunZone, we rode the ferry,

we played in the sand.

It was a nice end to our Spring Break.

And, we're spent.

THIS KID!!!!

Oh man,

this kid!?!

This kid plays hard..

These are his arms post going through a window

that shattered into terrifying shards.

I totally freaked out, it was a good thing my mom happened to stop by

about five minutes before this happened.

I heard Lincoln yelling from the girls' room because they had accidentally locked

themselves in, so I go to let them out, hadn't having heard the window shatter and see

the broken window.

The kids were both calm, so I asked what happened and Lincoln said ,

"Saylor did it." So I immediately start giving her a once over to make sure she isn't hurt and she seems fine. So I ask Lincoln if he is okay and check their feet for cuts and he says,

"My arms hurt a little." He lifts his arms to show me , blood streaming down, these horrific gashes.

He panics and starts wailing upon seeing the blood. We get him cleaned up, put on some super glue and send him to relax on the couch.
