Summer So Far

With baby Nixon fast approaching his arrival date, and an increasing number of doctor appointments and potential hospital stays the kids have been lucky to have extra time with Uncle Tyler and GoGo.
They have really helped make for some fun summer memories so far!
Of course, there has been dress-up

 and donuts

 a puppet show or two.

Oh, did I mention dress-up!?!

A baseball game, with of course cotton candy

a father and son and Pa camp-out,

 building projects at Home-Depot,

Madagascar at the drive-in theatre,

forts with Uncle Tyler,

and
  finger-paint with pudding.

We have made it to the library a few times for the summer reading program, filled our days with crafts, sidewalk chalk and runs through the sprinklers. We have had game nights and plenty of card games, a day doesn't pass us when we haven't played a few hands of UNO.
The best thing about summer so far--the kids are sleeping in!!!

Father's Day

 We love celebrating our daddy!

The kids showered him with homemade gifts and cards, they were so proud!
Our daddy is silly, funny, hard-working, tireless, loving, snugly and deserves all the love we have!

Last Day Thursday, June 7th
We are so proud of our Tatum Sue.
She works so hard and is really excelling in school.
She loved first grade and really thrived in and out of the classroom.
She loves to read, loves recess, she is super creative, sensitive and a little social butterfly.
She participated in running club before school Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and is quite the running (when she wasn't chatting & skipping) and she earned the Sensitivity Award for the Month of May.
